Foundation or A-Level for Malaysia? How to Choose After SSC
Both routes lead to a bachelor degree in Malaysia. One is faster and cheaper; the other keeps more doors open.
Foundation
A one-year university-run programme that feeds directly into that university's degrees. Faster and cheaper, but tied to the institution.
A-Level
Two years, internationally portable, accepted everywhere. Slower and more expensive, but keeps the UK and Australia open.
Which to pick
If you are certain about Malaysia, Foundation saves a year and a significant amount of money. If you may transfer later, A-Level is the safer investment.
